I shall be listing these beautiful antique French linen metis sheets on my website this afternoon, I have just discovered a new source of these lovely linens, and not just the usual whitework monogrammed linens, but some with rather pretty embroidery along the 'head' edge, to make for a perfectly pretty country cottage look with a floral turned-over top! My favourite is the gorgeous Morning Glory sheet!
These are all so lovely. I will have to look up the word "metis".
