Booty from a New Brocante due to open soon

Some friends of mine are in the process of setting up a large French Brocante in West Sussex, selling everything antique and vintage from France; furniture, metal work, architectural salvage, fabric, costume, enamel, kitchenalia - you name it, they will probably be selling it... I went along to see how it was going, and couldn't resist picking up a few bits and bobs. I shall post details here when they finally get an opening date!

  2. It is really, really fab, its huge! I will be taking some photos at some point when they are a bit more organised. Its a brave venture in these uncertain economic times, but they already have quite a wide client base, so best of luck to them!

  3. Oh how I wish I could visit this shop. I love your purchases particularly the lovely florals and the colors that you bought.

  4. I agree Phyllis, the colours are magical, so warm and friendly, we have a real cold snap going on here at the moment in the UK, snow, ice, freezing temperatures, so the warmth of these textiles is really welcome.
