Over the years, I have collected and sold many late 18th century and early 19th cetury French toiles, and am always thrilled at the detail. Here are some photos of some of the beautiful dogs that appear in some of them.

What a beautiful post...I love the detail on old toile too. All of them new are to me except the old lady with the children and dog...I have a piece of that framed at home.
