I have been sorting out some textiles that I had forgotten about to list in my website. I love this gorgeous Victorian head-piece; I am not very knowledgeable about costume of this period, but I think it is known as a Fall Cap probably dating to the second half of the 19th century. The lappets are made from transluscent voile with their original pink silk ribbons sewn behind the lappets, in excellent condition. It is edged with the most delicate bobbin lace, perhaps East Midlands or Bucks lace, but I'm not too sure.
