Living Comfortably with Textiles

I sometimes get asked how I safely store my textiles, whether they are wrapped in tissue, kept at an ambient temperature/humidity etc. The simple answer is, I don't store them, I live with them, as wall-hangings, bed coverings, make-shift cupboard doors, curtains etc. That is the use for which they were made, most are fully and easily washable, moth proof and visually stunning. Beats Ikea any day!

  2. Beautiful textiles, I agree with you they are meant to be used not shut away. I use my antique quilts on the beds, and they usually have a cat or two under them!
