December 1st - opening the first door of the Textile Advent Calender

This year I shall try to do a daily Advent Calender post to celebrate the countdown to Christmas. We woke up to our first snow so far this year after and we are in the midst of quite a sever cold snap, so I decided on an exotic image for today to evoke warmth and beauty, qualities peacocks possess in abundance!
